General Terms & Conditions for Programs Organized by Around Slovenia
By booking and using our services, you agree to and accept the following terms and conditions. This agreement is between you (the participating passenger(s)) and Alacer d.o.o. (Ulica Karla Glaserja 8, 2000 Maribor) or any agent booking and/or paying Around Slovenia in your or any passenger’s name.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Methods
Passengers may book a travel arrangement:

On the Around Slovenia website

Through any accredited agency, hotel, or tourist information center

By e-mail or phone
Booking a trip constitutes agreement to the travel arrangement terms, including details of the chosen program. All required information must be provided at the time of booking.

1.2 Booking Confirmation
Bookings made via e-mail are confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Around Slovenia.
1.3 Online Bookings
Passengers booking online must provide all necessary documentation and personal details and pay the full value of the travel arrangement.
1.4 Payment Methods
Credit or Debit Card (MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, etc.):

Passengers must complete a credit card authorization form.

A 3% bank transaction fee applies.

Payment details remain managed by the bank or card provider; the agency does not have full access.
Bank Transfer:

Payments must be completed at least 3–5 days before departure.

The travel agency is not responsible for delays in transaction visibility.
2. Price of Travel Arrangement
2.1 Currency and Price Changes

Prices are stated in EUR and listed in each program.

Around Slovenia reserves the right to change prices due to currency fluctuations, transport tariffs, fuel costs, or other factors in accordance with the Obligations Code.
2.2 Notification and Passenger Rights

Passengers will be informed of price changes at least 10 days before departure.

If the price increases by more than 10%, passengers may cancel without financial obligation, provided cancellation occurs within 2 days of notification.
2.3 Tour Inclusions

All inclusions are listed in each program.

Optional extras must be paid on-site to the local guide.
3. Amendment and Cancellation
3.1 Amendments

Amendments after booking may incur a fee of €10 per passenger, if possible.
3.2 Cancellation by Passenger

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation costs depend on the date received:

More than 36 hours before departure: free of charge

Less than 36 hours: full trip price, non-refundable

3.3 Cancellation by Agency

The agency may cancel or modify bookings due to:

Insufficient participants
-
Severe weather or life-threatening conditions
-
Other unforeseen circumstances

Notification will be sent via email or phone.

Full refunds are provided if the agency cancels.

The agency is not responsible for cancellations due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
4. Travel Documents
The agency accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to travel documents or personal belongings.
5. Changes in Itinerary
Around Slovenia may amend or cancel arrangements due to circumstances beyond its control, including:

Weather
-
Traffic conditions
-
Labor disputes
-
Border issues
-
Political, health, or security risks
The agency is not responsible for delays, deviations, or cancellations under these circumstances.
6. Health Requirements
Passengers should consult consulates or local health authorities for current requirements. The agency does not cover medical expenses for pre-existing conditions or illnesses during the tour.
7. Travelers with Special Needs

Disabilities requiring special attention must be reported at booking.

Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate special needs.

The agency is not responsible for denial of services by third parties or lack of wheelchair-accessible facilities.

Individual assistance is not provided; travelers requiring assistance must be accompanied by a capable companion.
8. Young Tour Participants
Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
9. Local Holidays
During national holidays, some facilities (museums, restaurants, attractions, shopping, tours) may be limited. Alternatives will be offered when possible.
10. Client Responsibility and Complaints
10.1 Punctuality
Passengers are responsible for meeting transportation at the correct time and location. Missed departures are non-refundable.
10.2 Guide Authority
Guides may make decisions in the interest of group safety or well-being. Passengers agree to comply. Non-compliance or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
10.3 Reporting Issues
Passengers must report any irregularities promptly. The agency will address them as quickly as possible, ideally during the trip itself.
11. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

Services are governed exclusively by the substantive laws of the Republic of Slovenia.

Conflict-of-law rules and international law are excluded.
-
The courts of Maribor, Slovenia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes.
